UK Space Showcase in Bremen

Scottish space companies joined colleagues across the UK to highlight space capabilities via a series of short pitches during Space Tech Expo 2023 in Germany.

More than 20 space companies from Scotland's space sector took part in a pitching session in front of a packed audience during Space Tech Expo in Bremen.

The event was organised by Scottish Development International and featured a welcome from Scottish Government Minister for Small Business, Trade, Tourism and Innovation Richard Lochhead, with a whisky reception at the end. The session included company overviews from space technology firms across upstream, downstream and service companies, such as Space Scotland, AAC Clyde Space, AstroAgency, Axon Cable, Spire, Alpha Data, Star Dundee, the Higgs Centre for Innovation, Thistle Rocketry, Skyrora, Ecosene and many more.

The event was a huge success and also included the international launch of Space Scotland's Sponsorship Proposition.
