We aim to enable sectoral growth by promoting, coordinating, connecting and acting as a guide for Scotland’s industry, whilst encouraging initiatives with adjacent sectors to ensure it’s positive impact is felt as widely as possible.

We work collaboratively with Scottish space stakeholders and wider partner organisations to identify opportunities and challenges for the industry. Our industry stakeholder community (“Council”) is representative of the sector we serve, with an elected Chairperson and members from industry, academia and government.

The Stakeholders work alongside us, often as part of Working Groups, to inform and share knowledge that can accelerate the growth of the Scottish space sector, with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes wherever possible.

The Sector.

Scotland builds more small satellites than anywhere in Europe. This capability is a huge strength for the UK and is a result of entreprenerialism, technical expertise in miniturisation of satellites and support from Universities.
