Developing a Sustainable Scottish Space Sector
This third round of funding through the UK Space Agency Local Growth Fund will strengthen the Scottish space ecosystem by enabling initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of space organisation through baseline analysis of carbon audits and life cycle assessment; addressing workforce skills challenges and future proofing the skills underpinning the growth of the sector;, and leveraging new market opportunities with neighbouring and novel sectors, such as Fintech, Robotics, Sustainable Manufacturing, Agritech and Biotech.
Space Scotland is partnering with a range of industry, academic and research institutions to deliver the objectives within the programme of work, leveraging the effectiveness of the diverse and extended cluster of organisations across Scotland, enabling growth for the sector.
